Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine deck railings, lifeboat details, and hull curvature at 1:1000 scale. If printing with FDM, use a 0.2 mm or finer nozzle at 0.1 mm layer height with supports enabled for overhanging decks and bow sections. Orient the hull flat on the build plate to minimize layer lines on the hull sides. Suggested materials: ABS-like resin for resin printers, or PLA/PETG for FDM; 20–30% infill is sufficient for display purposes.
