Description
The Caterpillar 994K is one of the largest wheel loaders in the world, designed for high-production surface mining operations. This highly detailed 3D print model captures every major element of the machine: the massive rock bucket, articulated frame, twin rear axles with oversized mining tires, engine hood with cooling grille, exhaust stack, ROPS-protected operator cab with surrounding walkway railings, hydraulic linkage arms, and access ladders. Two cabin variants are included — an open-frame version and a windowed/lights version — offering flexibility for display or diorama use. Supplied as print-ready STL files inside Scoop-Dozer.zip, suitable for scale modelling, mining industry presentations, or collector display builds.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for most parts at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height; resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is advised for fine detail components such as the cab railings, hydraulic lines, ladders and tire tread. Print the main body and bucket in their natural upright orientation; the boom arms may require supports. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display models. PLA or PLA+ is suitable for the main structural parts; ABS or resin for detail components requiring thin walls.
