The Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) is the ultimate and final production variant of the iconic rotary-powered sports coupe, built in 2002 as a limited farewell edition. This highly detailed 3D model captures the car’s signature pop-up headlights, aerodynamic body lines, rear spoiler, BBS-style multi-spoke wheels, dual exhaust tips, and a fully modeled interior with roll cage, sport seats, and dashboard. The model is available in two versions — with and without windows/lights — making it suitable for display prints, dioramas, or scale modeling projects. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing is recommended for best detail reproduction on the wheels, headlight housings, interior elements, and body panel lines. For FDM printing, orient the model horizontally on its flat underbody to minimize supports; enable supports for the spoiler, side mirrors, and front lip. Use a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height and 15–20% infill with a rigid material such as PLA or ABS. The two included versions (windowed/lights and open) allow you to choose the approach best suited to your printer and finishing workflow.
