Highly detailed 3D printable model of the USS Nimitz (CVN-68), the lead ship of the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carriers of the United States Navy. The model features a fully detailed flight deck, island superstructure, hull markings, and characteristic red anti-fouling bottom. Available in two scales (1:700 and 1:1200) as a multi-part assembly for maximum detail and printability. Print-tested in both PLA (FDM) and SLA resin. Delivered as a ZIP archive containing all parts ready to slice.
Print settings
Recommended for resin (SLA/MSLA) printing at 1:1200 scale and FDM at 1:700 scale for best detail fidelity. Print the hull and flight deck flat on the build plate to avoid warping; use light supports only on overhanging superstructure parts. Suggested infill 20–30% for FDM parts; resin parts benefit from 2–3 perimeter walls. Paint with acrylic Navy grey and apply a dark red to the lower hull for an accurate finish.
