Description
The Sd.Kfz. 223 is a German light armored reconnaissance vehicle used during World War II, here reproduced as a highly detailed 1:56 scale STL model. The model features the distinctive frame antenna, open-top turret, four-wheel configuration, spare wheel mount, side stowage boxes, tow hooks, and all characteristic hull details of the le.Sp.Wg. variant. Designed for tabletop wargaming (Bolt Action and similar), the file set includes separate components for the turret, antenna frame, wheels, and hull accessories for easier printing and assembly. Files are provided in STL format ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended given the fine details of the antenna frame, vision ports, and small hull fittings; use 0.05–0.025 mm layer height. Support the antenna frame carefully with light tree supports and print the turret and wheels separately from the hull. FDM printing is feasible for the main hull at 0.1 mm layer height with 20–30% infill, but the antenna frame will likely require resin. Wash and cure resin parts thoroughly before assembly.
