Description
The Steyr 250 is a rare WWII-era Austrian light staff car produced in the early 1940s for use by Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe command personnel. This highly detailed 3D model features a separated body and chassis assembly, tufted interior seats, a folded soft-top, period-correct crosshatch grille, and round headlamps true to the original vehicle. Designed for scale modeling, diorama building, and tabletop wargaming, the model ships as a multi-part STL file set allowing flexible printing and assembly. Files are print-ready and compatible with both FDM and resin workflows.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine grille mesh, riveted body panels, and tufted seat detail. Print the body shell with the nose facing down to minimize support scarring on visible surfaces; use tree supports for the windscreen frame and side mirror arms. The chassis can be printed flat on the build plate without supports. For FDM, scale up to at least 1:24 and use 0.1 mm layer height with 20–25 % infill; small parts such as the steering wheel and roll-bar studs may require separate orientation.
