Description
The Porsche VK 45.02 (P) is a German WWII heavy tank prototype designed by Ferdinand Porsche as a competitor to the Henschel Tiger II design. This highly detailed 3D print model is delivered at 1:35 scale and includes separately modelled components: hull, turret, tracks, and the long 88mm KwK 43 gun with muzzle brake. The model features fine surface details including Zimmerit-style texture, bolt patterns, tow cables, hatches, and vision ports visible across all views. Files are provided in STL format, ready for slicing and printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine surface details such as bolt heads, Zimmerit texture, and track links. Print the hull and turret upright or at a slight angle with medium supports on overhanging surfaces; tracks and gun barrel benefit from horizontal orientation. For FDM, use a layer height of 0.1 mm or finer with a 20–30% infill; ABS or PLA both work well for the main body. The model is pre-separated into logical sub-assemblies to minimise support scarring on visible surfaces.
