The Buell XB12 Lightning is an iconic American naked sport motorcycle known for its aggressive styling and unique engineering. This highly detailed 3D sculpt captures every mechanical element faithfully, including the exposed frame, V-twin engine, inverted front forks, radial-mount brakes, swingarm, exhaust routing, and cockpit controls. The model is suitable for display scale prints (1:12 to 1:6) as well as tabletop hobby or collector dioramas. Supplied as STL files ready for slicing and printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine mechanical details of the engine, brake calipers, chain, and body panels. Print the main body upright or at a slight angle with supports on overhanging fairings and the handlebar assembly. The wheels should be printed flat with moderate supports. Suggested infill 20–30% for FDM if printing at larger scales; use 0.1 mm layer height or finer for best surface quality. ABS, PETG or standard resin work well; prime before painting for best results.
